Join our other wonderful community sponsors in supporting the Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department
The Rist 2026 Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department (RCVFD) hosts its Mountain Festival annually to generate funds critical in the department’s ability to provide emergency services throughout the year. We are asking for your support to ensure the department has the operational resources necessary in providing these services to the many visitors and community members. All proceeds benefit the department, a 501(c)3 entity.

Now in its 51st year, the department’s responses have been more than 75 percent medical-related in years when there were no major fires. The RCVFD was originally established when volunteers came together to only fight wild fires. Today there are more than 45 well-trained volunteer firefighters and EMTs serving the 110 square mile response area. The coverage area includes Rist Canyon, Stove Prairie, and the Buckhorn, as well as providing mutual aid for an additional adjoining 50 square miles.

We ask you to consider becoming a 2026 Festival sponsor.
We have various levels of corporate and individual sponsorships available starting at $100 for your consideration. By helping us control costs, our sponsors also allow us to provide a full day’s line up of live entertainment and activities for the entire family. In addition, sponsorships help us make this a family friendly event with free admission, parking (including handicapped parking and bicycle racks), tractor-pulled hayride shuttle to/from the parking area, live musical entertainment, large kids’ activity area, farm animals, RCVFD resource booth, educational booths and demonstrations, and free ice cream.

Attendance in 2025 was more than 3,200!
This year’s musical entertainment will be local artists Liz Barnez, Wendy Woo, Also Known As (AKA) and the Gordon Creek Band. Come rain or shine, the festival will feature a legendary used book sale, large silent auction, bake sale, plant sale, firefighter dunk tank, artisan vendors, food trucks, large-covered dining area in front of the music venue, car show, and 2026 RCVFD merchandise booth.
